Heart Attack
A heart attack is a life threatening condition in which the heart ceases to function due to inadequate blood supply. A heart attack is not a gradual medical condition, it can occur within any activity of daily life, it can happen at any place, at any time.
A myocardial infarction or heart attack occurs when plaque is built up in the inner lining of the coronary artery and then suddenly ruptures. This prevents the blood flow throughout the bloodstream.
